It has always been my passion and pleasure to show the beauty of my culture and heritage through my artwork. I believe that art is one of the most impactful ways of intercultural communication and understanding, for it authentically depicts the core of cultural identity.

Today, art has an important role of supporting and promoting the values of tolerance, peace, and coexistence; it teaches us how to maintain respect for one another despite our vast differences. The ‘We’ collection of paintings aims to promote coexistence. Some images may put the audience in awe and curiosity, while others might instil a sense of warmth and familiarity in them. Collectively, the paintings serve to unite rather than divide.

Artists are given a platform to create and make an impact through the continuous support of the people and organisations that surround them. That being said, I would like to extend my sincerest thanks to the Club of Innovation and Scientific Research in the United Arab Emirates, under leadership of Dr Ahmed Al Hamli for making this exhibition possible and most of all, for believing in the power of art as a step towards peace. This collaboration is ultimately a celebration of our culture, and an emphasis on the importance of peace.
